Hot Springs, Edgemont graduations this weekend

Body HOT SPRINGS – This weekend marks the completion of high school for 59 graduates from Hot Springs and 10 from Edgemont as the two schools host their annual commencement exercises. Hot Springs’ will be held Saturday, May 18, at 1 p.m. while Edgemont’s will be Sunday, May 19, at 3 p.

Hot Springs VAMC performs restorative work on rotunda

Body HOT SPRINGS – Anyone within eyeshot of the Hot Springs VA late last month likely saw a large crane suspending a worker above the rotunda on Building 1.

Edgemont students explore meat processing and bike manufacturing on unique field trip

Body WALL -- Edgemont High School students recently enjoyed a field trip organized by their FFA and Spanish 1 classes. The trip took them from a meat processing plant in Wall, South Dakota, to a celebrated bike manufacturer in Rapid City.

Body EDGEMONT -- In a heartfelt tribute to a beloved local figure, the Edgemont Alumni Association has unveiled a new sign dedicated to the memory of Paul Gull, the cherished sports announcer and town crier who left a lasting mark on the community.

WDTC Practical Nursing program to open in Hot Springs this fall

Body HOT SPRINGS – The need for qualified nurses in the Southern Black Hills area got a shot in the arm last Tuesday, April 30, when Western Dakota Technical College(WDTC)announced they would soon be opening a Practical Nursing Satellite Program in Hot Springs.
