Rescue at Evans Plunge emphasizes the importance of facility’s young lifeguards

HOT SPRINGS – There are very few local “first jobs” for teenagers that carry the responsible than that of an Evans Plunge Mineral Springs lifeguard.
The lifesaving skills required for that position were put into practice for a handful of the Plunge’s personnel last month when a patron in line to go on the rings passed out and fell into the pool.
