Body EDGEMONT – This past week’s 112th annual Fall River County Fair in Edgemont was considered a huge success, not only in terms of attendance but also in terms of ‘fun had by all.

Round Top Fire burns 74.5 acres

Body HOT SPRINGS – A thunderstorm that moved through the area last Friday evening, July 26, sparked about a half dozen wildfires, the largest of which was the 74.5 acre Round Top Fire located on private land five miles southwest of Hot Springs.

Body HOT SPRINGS – On July 18, the Fall River County commissioners decided to lead the way for handcounting votes in the general election. They discussed pros and cons of either using tabulators or hand counting. County Auditor Sue Ganje presented information on voting with tabulators.
