Body MORRILL, NEB. – Edgemont once again had another track meet, this time at the Panhandle Conference Track Meet in Morrill, Neb., on Friday, April 26.

Golf season gets underway in Belle

Body BELLE FOURCHE – The Hot Springs Lady Bison golfers took part in a triangular in Belle Fourche on Thursday, April 11, where Custer took the team title with a four-person nine-hole score of 210 followed by the host Broncs in second place with a 257.

Many Moguls show improvement at pair of meets last week

Body EDGEMONT – Edgemont had a busy week in the track world last week, having two track meets where lots of the student athletes were able to improve against some tough competitions as well as gain some times in events they haven’t run this year yet.

Body RAPID CITY – With more than two dozen track and field teams from South Dakota, Wyoming and North Dakota, the Hot Springs Bison faced a lot of tough competition last Friday, April 12 at the Track-ORama in Rapid City.

Total of 11 PRs set by Bison tracksters at Spearfish meet

Body SPEARFISH – Versus more than 30 teams from a threestate region, the Hot Springs Bison boys and girls track & field teams competed in the Queen City Classic last Friday, April 4, on the campus of Black Hills State University.

Baseball team earns 7-5 win over Douglas at Butler Park

Body HOT SPRINGS – The Hot Springs Bison baseball team picked up its first win of the season last Friday, April 5, at home versus the Douglas Patriots when they earned a 6 1/2 inning victory by a score of 7-5, thanks to a big five-run third inning for the hometown boys.
After missing most of last season due to injury, Hot Springs senior speedster Braden Peterson breaks the finish line of the 100-meters to win the event in his first meet of the 2024 season. Bison thinclads compete in first meet of the season

Body STURGIS – The Hot Springs Bison track and field teams saw their first action of the season last week when they traveled to Sturgis for a 13-team Early Bird meet at Woodle Field.

Oelrichs’ Youngman shines in Lakota All-Star Games

Body OELRICHS - The Fifth Annual Lakota All Star Games were held in Rapid City at the Monument on Saturday, March 30. Three boys basketball teams and two girls basketball teams competed in the high school games, followed by women’s and men’s college basketball games.
