Bison thinclads compete in first meet of the season
After missing most of last season due to injury, Hot Springs senior speedster Braden Peterson breaks the finish line of the 100-meters to win the event in his first meet of the 2024 season. STURGIS – The Hot Springs Bison track and field teams saw their first action of the season last week when they traveled to Sturgis for a 13-team Early Bird meet at Woodle Field.
First-year head coach Mike Close said his team had some “first meet of the year jitters,” but that all of the assistant coaches did a great job of getting all of the kids prepared.
