During a tour of the facility in September, Wastewater Foreman Jassen Correll shows where the raw sewage enters the system. The city facility, which was built in 1984, is considered 15 to 20 years past its useful life, will be the topic of a public meeting to be held next Thursday, Nov. 13. This sign located at Vivos xPoint shows a long list of amenities, most of which – marked with a circle that reads “COMING SOON” – have yet to be built at the Igloo bunker compound, located southwest of Edgemont.
Throughout the event, approximately 350 people attended in Centennial Park, bringing their lawn chairs, blankets and respect. People also gathered at the American Legion hall for fellowship and food.
