The concrete in front of Hot Springs City Hall was torn up last week so that crews could begin the construction of a new bump-out across from the pedestrian bridge that leads to Centennial Park. Public Works Engineer Tracy Bastian said the bump-out has been part of the plan all along, but could not be constructed until the southern portion of the suspended sidewalk was completed, and thus allowing more room for traffic.
