Edgemont City Council honors Joan Olson as Citizen of the Year

Body EDGEMONT–OnTuesday, November 19, Edgemont City Council awarded the firstever Citizen of the Year award to Joan Olson, for service to the community.

American Legion Family honors Veterans, serves community with pride

Body HOT SPRINGS – Veterans Day 2024 began with a pageantry of honor at all the local schools with State Home Veterans in attendance and ended with a brick memorial garden dedication and a free Veterans Feast at the American Legion.

Funds needed for repairs on Centennial Park fountain

Edgemont Historical Society hosts program about ranching on the Cheyenne

Body EDGEMONT – The Edgemont Historical Society hosted an evening that showcased the rich roots of ranches along the Cheyenne River on Tuesday, October 22. There were 48 folks in attendance and many ranching families were represented from both Edgemont and other communities in Wyoming.
It was a crisp 30 degree morning on Saturday, Nov. 2, as members of Keep Hot Springs Beautiful (KHSB) and others joined together to decorate Centennial Park in festive lights. With soft Christmas melodies wafting through the air, the people and a table laden with treats and coffee all were ready to take on the task at hand and dispersed with lights, ladders and Christmas spirit.
