HOT SPRINGS — When an opportunity arose to buy the Sandstar Building on N. Chicago Street in 2020, local musician and tenant Marty Meyer jumped at the chance to have space for his dream of a venue for live music — and his wife, Elsa, envisioned a wine bar that served tacos from her mother’s Guadalajara recipes.
Both wanted a locale for community socializing that was family-friendly.
