In loving memory of Irene Jerke Anderson, 95, born December 23 1928 in Menno, S.D., went home to our Lord on November 7, 2024.
Irene joins her husband Albert and is survived by her beloved daughter, Connie; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Alex; brother, Clarence, and eight nieces and nephews.
A proud South Dakotan, Irene loved to learn about South Dakota history. Irene was an accomplished seamstress, hobby gardener and baker.
Her funeral service was held Monday, November, 18, 2024 at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Hot Springs, and she was interred at Black Hills National Cemetery.
Donations in her honor may be made to a local veterans organization if desired.
