Hot Springs’ own Smokehouse takes home the gold at Prairie Wind Casino BBQ Cook Off

HOT SPRINGS – On Sept. 15, in the wee hours of the morning, the Smokehouse Sports Bar and Grill crew from Hot Springs – Chef Daniel Valdivia, Mercedes Uehling and Galen Ballasy – hit the road with high hopes of bringing home a win at the Prairie Wind Casino BBQ Cook Off.
“We pulled an all-nighter,” said Chef Valdivia of the crew’s efforts to prepare for their very first competition; ever.
