Edgemont Quiz Bowl teams triumph at Panhandle Conference Tournament

Body EDGEMONT – In a display of intellectual prowess and team spirit, the Edgemont High School and Middle School Quiz Bowl teams showcased their talents at the Panhandle Conference Tournament held in Sioux County on Monday, March 18.

No need for election in Edgemont next month

Body EDGEMONT – The Edgemont municipal election for city council and school board – which is normally held in April – will not be necessary this year due to lack of competition. Instead, all current incumbent candidates will maintain their respective seats.

Oelrichs’ Youngman wins at All West Basketball Classic

Body OELRICHS - Kennan Youngman participated in the 2024 All West Native American Basketball Classic in Lakewood, CO, from March 22-24. His team, the Sioux City Dogs, won the championship in the Boys Silver Division.

New ‘Hiking South Dakota’ guidebook available now
