Commission looks at building jail across from courthouse

Body HOT SPRINGS – When the Fall River County Commissioners met on Thursday, April 18, they approved an emergency motion to have two water lines, a sewer line, and a pipe chase for propane built under the new highway that is being constructed in front of the courthouse.

Body One month after Superintendent Dennis Fischer announced his retirement, the Hot Springs School District has hired Pierre Middle School Principal Dr. Kyley Cumbow to fill that position beginning July 1, 2024.
