Body BROOKINGS – Joelle Simpson was crowned Miss South Dakota 2024 at this past Saturday night’s competition in Brookings. Simpson is originally from Rapid City and is attending the University of Minnesota majoring in Medical Laboratory Science.

Hot Springs hosts successful SDSU Energize Conference

Body HOT SPRINGS – More than 140 South Dakota rural community leaders who were looking to share success stories, get new ideas and take action to improve their hometowns were in Hot Springs for two days last week as part of the SDSU Extension Energize Conference.
