Body Bullet temporarily lodges in local man’s back, but falls out and is found during a CT Scan HOT SPRINGS – On the afternoon of Saturday, May 10, Hot Springs resident Tim Schanno was riding his Indian motorcycle north of town on Hwy. 79, heading towards Rapid City.

Hot Springs students to attend 11 more days of school next year

Body HOT SPRINGS – A new 2025-26 school calendar was approved by the Hot Springs School Board at its Monday, May 12, meeting last week which shows 11 more days of classroom instruction compared to the current 2024-25 school calendar with 144 days for students and 155 days for staff.

City, School approve contract renewal for Resource Officer

Body HOT SPRINGS – At its Monday, May 5 regular meeting, the Hot Springs City Council approved a contract with the Hot Springs School District to again provide a School Resource Officer (SRO) for the upcoming 2025-26 school year.
