‘Pat’s Place’ House Concerts enliven Hot Springs music scene

HOT SPRINGS – To call Pat DeSmet a music lover would be as great an understatement as describing him as a ‘colorful character.’ The South Dakota native retired to the Hot Brook Canyon hills, where he designed and built a home and outdoor performance space — emboldened with orange — to host his “house concerts,” opportunities to hear live music in an intimate setting.
