New group aims to eliminate property taxes in the state

    HOT SPRINGS – Roughly 100 county residents crowded into the annex room at the Mueller Center on Thursday, April 10 at 6 pm to hear four impassioned speakers detail their strategy to replace all property taxes with a minimal point-of-sale fee — not a sales tax increase, they cautioned — and without a state income tax.
