Gratitude: The focus of the annual Keep Hot Springs Beautiful banquet

  • It was a crisp 30 degree morning on Saturday, Nov. 2, as members of Keep Hot Springs Beautiful (KHSB) and others joined together to decorate Centennial Park in festive lights. With soft Christmas melodies wafting through the air, the people and a table laden with treats and coffee all were ready to take on the task at hand and dispersed with lights, ladders and Christmas spirit.     HOT SPRINGS – Last Friday evening, Nov. 1, at the American Legion, the annual banquet for Keep Hot Springs Beautiful (KHSB) held a record number of attendees.

    “Gratitude is the message of the night,” said KHSB President Shelley Hagans-Brown ,addressing a crowd of more than 95 people – the largest crowd the annual banquet has had to date.
