    EDGEMONT – The peace of a Winter evening was shattered on Wednesday, February 5, when a 6th Avenue home explosion and fire completely destroyed the home and severely injured the resident.The Edgemont Volunteer Fire Department got the call at 8:24pm, and upon arrival found the home completed engulfed in flames.
