HOT SPRINGS – What started as the Good News Sunday youth program at The United Churches in Hot Springs expanded to include an afterschool group for the community’s children ages 10 and above. The program is named the “Hang-out” and meets at the church at 342 N. Garden on Wednesdays at 4 p.m.

HOT SPRINGS – On Tuesday April 23, 2024 at 5:05 p.m., the Fall River County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a deceased individual in a secluded area in Minnekahta Valley. The initial report was made by a neighbor of the property owner who had been out driving his UTV when he came across a black Kia Forte and observed a deceased individual nearby.

HOT SPRINGS – On April 3, 2024, Hot Springs Police Officer Matthew Maxfield received a ‘Saving Award’ from Chief Ross Norton. The award is the first saving award Chief Norton has given and stemmed from an officer response to a 20year old female in crisis.
